Terms of Service
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms set out the rights, obligations and responsibilities between Arclair Inc. (the “Company”) and users in connection with the use of the Mythelo website and mobile app services provided by the Company (the “Service”).
Article 2 (Scope)
- These Terms apply to all services provided by the Company.
- If a particular service has separate terms or operating policies, those terms or policies take precedence.
- The Company clearly displays its business information (company name, representative, business registration number, mail-order business report number, address, contact details, etc.) within the Service.
Article 3 (Nature of the Service)
- The Service calculates Saju (Four Pillars of Destiny) from the date of birth and other information the user enters, and provides the result as an interpretation written by generative AI.
- The interpretations in this Service are for reference only and do not replace medical, legal or financial judgment. All decisions are made by the user.
- The mobile app provides text and voice conversations with AI characters. Conversation content is also written by generative AI, so it may be inaccurate or differ from fact, and is for reference only, like the interpretations above.
- To use voice conversation, you must allow the device’s microphone. If you do not, voice conversation is unavailable, but text conversation and other features remain available.
Article 4 (Eligibility)
- You must be at least 14 years old to use the Service.
- A minor under 19 years of age (Korean Civil Act, Article 5) needs the consent of a legal representative to use paid services. A paid-service contract made without that consent may be cancelled by the minor or the legal representative.
Article 5 (Membership and Account Management)
- You can sign up with an email address or a social login.
- You are responsible for managing your account and password, and may not transfer or lend them to a third party.
- The Company may restrict or terminate use of an account if the user violates these Terms or the law, or significantly disrupts the operation of the Service.
Article 6 (Paid Services and Payment)
- On the web, the free scope is the summary (top percentage, type and preview) and result generation twice a day; the full reading is a paid service. The scope in the mobile app is as shown on the relevant screen in the app.
- On the web, paid services are paid by card or easy-pay through a payment service provider. Payments in the mobile app follow Article 6-2.
- The amount and currency are those shown on the screen immediately before payment.
- A full reading paid for on the web can be viewed for one year from the payment date (for example, a payment on September 21, 2026 allows viewing until September 21, 2027). After that period, the full reading can no longer be viewed. The expiry date can be checked in “My Saju”. Paid readings in the mobile app follow Article 6-2.
- Refunds and payment cancellations follow Article 7 (Withdrawal and Refund) of these Terms.
Article 6-2 (In-App Payments in the Mobile App)
- Paid services in the mobile app are purchased through in-app purchase on the Apple App Store or Google Play, and the charge is billed to your account with that store. The amount, currency and taxes are those shown by the store immediately before purchase.
- Membership is an auto-renewing subscription. Unless you cancel in your store settings before the renewal date (for Apple, at least 24 hours before renewal), it renews for the same period and the renewal fee is charged to your store account.
- Credits are consumable items that you buy with a single payment and that are deducted as you use the Service. The terms of use for credits are as shown on the relevant screen in the app.
- Subscriptions are cancelled or changed in your store account settings. Deleting the app or leaving the Service may not cancel a subscription, so cancel the subscription in your store settings before you leave. After you cancel, you can use the membership until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- A reading bought as a product in the mobile app can be viewed for one year from the day the reading is completed. After that period, the text of the reading can no longer be viewed.
Article 7 (Withdrawal and Refund)
- Under the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, a user may withdraw from the contract within 7 days from the date of the contract or the date the service becomes available.
- However, withdrawal may be restricted in the following cases.
- The content was damaged for a reason attributable to the user.
- The user has already viewed the full reading they paid for.
- Provision of the content has already started, or viewing has started with the user’s consent.
- The Company refunds the payment within 3 business days after receiving a justified withdrawal request. If the refund is unavoidably delayed, it is handled within the scope set by law.
- If a user withdraws for a simple change of mind, the user bears the cost required for the return. The Company bears it if the cause is attributable to the Company.
- If provision of the service is delayed or becomes impossible, the Company will notify the user without delay and, where payment has been made in advance, start the refund process in accordance with the law.
Article 7-2 (Refunds for Mobile App Payments)
- In-app purchases are processed by Apple or Google, so cancellation and refund requests are made by the user directly to the store under that store’s policy. (Apple: “Report a Problem” at reportaproblem.apple.com. Google Play: the Google Play refund policy and your order history.)
- The Company cannot directly refund amounts processed by a store; whether a refund is possible and its amount are decided by the store. However, if you could not use the Service for a reason attributable to the Company, the Company will give the cooperation needed for your refund request.
- Credits that have already been used (deducted) and readings that have been generated and are available to view fall under the start of content provision in Article 7, paragraph 2, so withdrawal and refund may be restricted. This does not limit rights that the law guarantees to users, such as for unused credits.
- Cancellation of a payment made by a minor without a legal representative’s consent follows Article 4, paragraph 2, and can be requested through the store’s refund process or the representative email at the bottom of this page.
Article 8 (Rights in User Input)
- The right to view the information a user enters and the readings generated from it belongs to the user.
- The Company processes inputs and results only for providing, operating and improving the Service, within the scope of the Privacy Policy.
- The user warrants that the information they enter does not infringe the rights of any third party, and the Company is not liable for disputes arising from such infringement.
Article 9 (Prohibited Conduct)
Users must not engage in any of the following.
- Illegal acts, copyright infringement, or posting obscene or harmful information
- Interfering with the operation of the Service
- Improper use such as mass requests through automated means or reverse engineering
- Any other act that is contrary to public order or significantly impairs the Company’s reasonable operation
Article 10 (Changes to and Suspension of the Service)
- The Company may change or suspend all or part of the Service and, in principle, gives notice a reasonable period (30 days) in advance.
- In unavoidable cases such as an urgent security threat, a change in law or technical necessity, notice may be given afterwards.
Article 11 (Changes to These Terms)
- The Company may amend these Terms and, when it does, announces the effective date and reasons from 7 days before the amended Terms apply.
- For changes that are unfavorable to users or otherwise important, the announcement is made at least 30 days in advance.
- If immediate application is unavoidable because of a change in law or an urgent reason, the Company may apply the amendment immediately and announces it without delay afterwards.
Article 12 (Dispute Resolution and Governing Law)
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
- The Company and users will try to resolve disputes amicably through consultation.
- If no agreement is reached, the competent court is the Seoul Central District Court.
- Users may apply for dispute mediation through relevant bodies such as the Korea Consumer Agency or the Korea Fair Trade Commission.
